STAGE 10: CHEPSTOW CASTLE to CALDICOT, 7.6 Miles / 12.16km, 

START TIME: 3.35PM, CUT-OFF TIME: 70 MINS

Stage briefing and start near Chepstow Castle car park. Follow footpath to road and turn right. Just after brow of hill turn left into Kingsmark Lane and left again at the T-junction. Take the A48 towards Newport by turning right at the roundabout. Pass through Pwllmeyric past St Pierre Golf Club. Please make use of available footpaths on this section.

Just before the pavement disappears before going over the M4, take the sliproad to the right to Hayes Gate. EVENT OFFICIAL VEHICLES ONLY ON THIS SECTION. (see section 6 of the Information Booklet for vehicle restrictions) Take an immediate left and follow the lane all the way to Crick and left to the A48.  At Crick turn right and continue along A48 to Caerwent, cross the road and along Dewstow Road until turning left along Church Road.  Turn right along Rock Cottages and Sandy Lane. After going through the underpass, turn left onto footpath. Proceed along footpath to finish at ‘Y’ junction close to St. Mary’s Church Hall.
